Zeppole di San Giuseppe generally are a fried dough specialty made for the festival of St. Joseph from Enna, Sicily and are loved throughout southern Italy. Annabelle's non-fried "baked" version make for a healthier alternative, but are just as delicious as they simply melt in your mouth! Filled with either cannoli or Italian cream and then topped with a maraschino cherry, these pastries are truly heavenly!
